Proper form is a must to improve posture, gain strength and to protect you from getting hurt. More than that, acing perfect form is empowering.
When you practice perfect form you are developing a good habit that will soon become second-nature. Taking care to understand how something is done correctly is a healthy habit that will serve you in other environments – in work, in relationships, etc – and will give you confidence in everything you do!
