Q:What’s the right mix of cardio, weights and abs to have a balanced workout?
Rupa: The proper mix is the one that keeps you motivated to workout. Everyone is different, but finding a mix that keeps you motivated AND a core routine to come back to will keep you fit.
I see many of my clients come in 3-4 times a week doing Nalini and that is the “scaffolding” of their routine and they add other types of workouts on top of that foundation. For example you might do strength training a few times a week, as your safe healthy core routine that you feel good doing, and then build fun runs on top of that to balance out and provide some diversity to your exercise.
